Common questions
Thinking about upgrading to Annotatr Premium? Here are quick answers to the most common questions about how our WordPress bug-tracking tool works, what’s included, and how it helps your team ship websites faster with clearer feedback.
What does Annotatr Premium include?
Annotatr Premium unlocks advanced features designed for larger teams and more complex QA workflows. This includes unlimited members, unlimited annotations, due dates and reminders, advanced filters, bulk actions, multiple board views (kanban, list, and timeline), activity history, statistics dashboards, and whitelabel email notifications.
What are the limits in the free version?
The free version allows you to test the core functionality of Annotatr, including adding notes and collaborating on feedback. However, it is limited to 10 annotations and does not include advanced workflow tools like statistics, bulk actions, timeline views, or due dates.
Premium removes these limits and adds powerful project management features.
How many users can I add?
Premium includes unlimited members, so you can invite as many developers, testers, clients, or stakeholders as needed.
This makes it ideal for agencies, distributed teams, and larger QA workflows
Can I use Annotatr on multiple websites?
Your licence determines how many websites you can activate Annotatr Premium on. You can manage your activations directly from your account dashboard.
Does Annotatr work with any WordPress theme?
Yes. Annotatr is designed to work with any well-built WordPress theme or page builder, including Gutenberg, Elementor, Divi, and others.
Since annotations are layered over the page, they do not interfere with your site design or layout.
Will Annotatr slow down my website?
No. Annotatr loads only when ans assigned developer/tester is logged in, and annotation mode is enabled and is optimised to have minimal impact on performance.
Visitors to your website will not see or load annotation features.
Can clients use Annotatr?
Absolutely. Annotatr is designed to make client feedback simple and visual. Clients can click directly on the page to leave notes, reducing long email threads and unclear feedback.
Premium also includes whitelabel email notifications, removing Annotatr branding for client-facing projects.
What happens if I cancel my Premium licence?
If you cancel your licence, you will continue to have access to the Premium features until the end of your billing period. After that, the plugin will revert to the free version, but your existing annotations will remain.
